Mike le Duc

Mike is currently a Senior Research Associate in the School of Biological Sciences, Liverpool. This follows on from a PhD at Birkbeck College, and a stint at ITE (now CEH) Monks Wood, all after a long career in the electronic components manufacturing industry. He is currently spending most of his time working in, on, and with, bracken and its associated vegetation. That is except when he can escape to one to one of his favourite exotic getaways Mike's main interests are in vegetation change, succession and restoration. He is a mathematical modelleler who revels in large sets of data and multivariate problems.
